Slack
2014
I had a project called “Slack” in a group exhibition called Black Diamond Dust at the Nanaimo Art Gallery in the fall of 2014. For this exhibition, I worked with a piece of coal that was mailed to me in Sointula by the exhibition curator Jesse Birch in Nanaimo. (One of the meanings of the word ‘slack’ is a fragment or pile of fragments of coal.)
More information on the exhibition here.
A review of the exhibition can be found here.
